Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Saare Friends,
We are still working on processing the many inquiries from the Düsseldorf boat show. Viewings are taking place, and soon, sea trial appointments will also be available again. At the same time, we are coordinating test sessions for the Saare 41.2 and the new Saare 47 with journalists from leading boating magazines in France and the UK. YACHT TV will also be filming a test video of the Saare 41.2 this spring, which we are very much looking forward to.
A diving company and civil engineers are currently working on repairing the sheet piling at our harbor, and these works should soon be completed. After that, we will renew the electrical systems and power distribution in the marina – then the season can begin!

Innovative Onboard Electronics
|
|
A topic that is becoming increasingly important for many sailors is the perfect energy supply on board. More and more electrical consumers— not just heating, cooling boxes, anchor winches, and onboard electronics, but also winches, furlers, as well as stoves and washing machines—require reliable electrical power.
Additionally, owners of modern yachts aim to be as self-sufficient as possible and largely independent of shore power for extended periods.
At Saare Yachts, we have been working for many years to develop the best solutions for these challenges.

Visit us now in Eckernförde and explore the impressive Saare Yachts!
The brand-new Saare 38.2 and the Saare 47 are in the water, right in front of our store entrance. The Saare 41.2 is on display in our hall. |

Saare 38.2
The Saare 38.2 has now been delivered by truck from Estonia to Eckernförde. We are currently rigging the yacht and preparing everything for handover to our customers.
This Saare 38.2 is the first to feature the new chart table.
From Monday, February 24, to Friday, February 28, this yacht will be available for viewing and sea trials at our harbor.
Afterward, the owners will transfer the yacht to Heiligenhafen, where it will enter charter service. |
|
Saare 41.2
The exhibition yacht from boot 2025 is now back with us. It is currently in our hall, where it can be viewed in a warm and dry environment.
This yacht is extensively and highly equipped, offering premium features. As of now, it has not yet been sold.
Delivery can be arranged under special conditions at the end of May 2025. |
|
Saare 47
Our dream yacht, the new Saare 47, is moored in our harbor, right at our doorstep. This yacht is also available for purchase, with delivery possible at the end of May after the In-Water Boat Show in Neustadt or at the end of the season.
Experiencing this yacht on the water is truly exceptional. Designed for 2 to 4 people, it offers comfort and luxury, outstanding sailing performance, and innovative technology, including a 48-volt system. The superb craftsmanship in every detail sets this yacht apart from others.
The YACHT TV video has already been viewed over 60,000 times. With an impressive length of 39 minutes, the video not only showcases stunning sailing sequences but also provides detailed insights into the interior of the Saare 47. |

For a very experienced and demanding customer from Switzerland, we have received an order for a Saare 41.2. With extensive sailing experience, particularly in high northern and southern latitudes, he plans to continue sailing primarily in the far north, exploring Norway, Iceland, and Greenland with his Saare.
To ensure greater protection in harsh weather and low temperatures, we have worked closely with him to develop an elegant doghouse for the Saare 41.2—offering enhanced comfort and shelter on board. |
|
After many enthusiastic Saare 41.2 owners were won over by the targa bar, its advantages are undeniable. It keeps the cockpit free of the mainsheet, allows for a large bimini, features an elegant design, and serves as a perfect mounting point for both the sprayhood and a cockpit enclosure.
Now, we can also offer a targa bar on the Saare 38.2! The first 38.2 with a targa bar will be delivered this summer in Kuressaare to a customer from the Netherlands. |
|
Several customers expressed the desire for a classic chart table with forward-facing seating on the Saare 38.2. This space is often also used as a workspace on board.
We have now implemented this request on the next Saare 38.2, which will soon be delivered to Eckernförde, as well as on another 38.2 that we will hand over to its owner in Estonia this summer. |

With around 200,000 visitors, attendance at boot 2025 was down by about 10% compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, the only remaining hall with sailing yachts remained busy almost all the time.
Thomas Nielsen:
“I still remember the 1980s and 90s very well. Back then, up to 350,000 people attended the show. The aisles were completely packed, getting from the stand to the restroom was unpredictable, and we often worried whether the exhibition stand platform could withstand the crowds. Politicians and celebrities stopped by, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Those were different times.”
Unfortunately, very few sailing yachts were exhibited at boot 2025. Sailing boats and yachts were once the core of this event, but many large and small shipyards from across Europe were absent this year, primarily due to cost concerns.
For serious buyers, this makes it much harder to get a comprehensive overview of different brands, price ranges, and quality levels. Families visiting with their children hoping to step aboard a yacht also found it increasingly difficult to access the few available models.
Looking ahead: The IN-WATER boat show in Lübeck Bay
We are already looking forward to the In-Water Boat Show at the Ancora Marina in Neustadt. This event allows visitors to see many sailing yachts in their natural element—on the water.
We plan to present the Saare 41.2 and the Saare 47. Over the three days, there will be plenty of time for in-depth discussions, and you will have the opportunity to explore our yachts in the harbor. |
|
On social media, the Yacht Test of the Saare 47 has already surpassed 64,000 views.
Meanwhile, an Instagram video showcasing the launch of the Saare 38.2 in winter conditions has gained over 371,000 views, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response! |
|
On some days, you can already feel the arrival of spring here in the north. The days are noticeably longer, and the anticipation for the sailing season grows each day.
In a world that feels increasingly unsettled, it is more important than ever to create personal havens of peace and relaxation. The joy of being on board—whether in beautiful harbors, at stunning anchorages, or out on the open sea—is truly unparalleled.
We wish you wonderful anticipation for the 2025 sailing season!
