Welcome to Saare Yachts “Owners report”

At Saare Yachts we believe that every yacht has its own story to tell and there is nothing better than sharing these experiences with others. Our yachts are more than just ships; they are companions on journeys, dreams that come true and witnesses to unforgettable adventures on the world’s oceans.

On this page we want to give the proud yacht owners of Saare Yachts the opportunity to share their stories and experiences with us and the Saare community. Whether it is exciting journeys across the Atlantic, peaceful sailing trips along idyllic coastlines or special moments on board with family and friends – these stories bring sailing to life and inspire others.

a picture taken from the ferry from Kiel to Oslo, in Kiel Our sailing adventure to the Baltic started after the NOK and eventually brought us via Heiligenhafen, Kopenhagen, Gothenburg Swedish West coast to the East coast of Denmark, via Eckernforde back to Kiel and ultimately back to the Netherlands. The picture was taken by my brother in law from the ferry, as we sailed along the ferry in the Kieler Fjord. It was a great opportunity and rare moment to have such a picture taken. We are [...]

SY Michel sailing on the North Sea

Heligoland in sight - in just under 5 hours we went from Cuxhaven to Heligoland in winds of 6 Beaufort from the southwest. Following the rhythm of the tides, we traveled the North Frisian Islands for two weeks. For each leg of the trip, we had to calculate exactly when it was [...]

In Norway with the ANANDA DVE

In Norway with the ANANDA DVE So this year Norway is on the Atlantic side. The first question was where is the geographical border of the North Sea and where does the Atlantic begin. This line is roughly at the Shetland Islands. And that's where we want to go this year and if we don't lose our courage, then maybe continue to the Faroe Islands. Our SAARE-YACHT 38.2 ANANDA DVE, built in 2020, doesn't mind our planning. This ship just keeps sailing, much further than the courage of [...]

MelBen in Stockholm

MelBen in Stockholm At the beginning of June, my daughter and I took the MelBen to Stockholm. We arrived in Kalmar in four days. A SW was blowing constantly and we were able to sail with a gennaker on three of the four days. That was particularly fun and we were able to use the autopilot to control speeds up to 20 knots. With 21 knots of wind, we decided to take it down, because the waves behind us were making things a bit choppy on board. At [...]
