Dear Sir or Madam,
dear Saare friends,

the seven-page test report of the new Saare 47 has now been published in the current issue 25/2024 of YACHT Germany. The test will also be available online shortly and the video will also appear on YACHT-TV in a few days.
The Saare 47 is described with lots of photos and informative texts, and a lot of positive things are reported. From the good sailing characteristics to the very high-quality workmanship and the great flexibility of the expansion, it is stated that the Saare 47 is practically unrivaled on the European market. We could have thought of countless more important things that make our yachts stand out in a very positive way and are real unique selling points, but a test like this cannot fill the whole issue.
There are also a few critical comments, for example the mainsheet winch is criticized as being too powerful.
The criticism is justified, we probably meant too well. We have already ordered a smaller winch. We have also readjusted the push rod transmission from the steering wheel to the rudder.

We will be making the gaps between the individual panels of the floor in the ship narrower in the future.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to exhibit this great yacht at boot 2025 after all. Although we had booked a larger stand with the trade fair company early on that would be suitable for two Saare yachts, they were unable to offer us adequate space in Hall 16. Unfortunately, if you are interested, we must now ask you to visit us in Eckernförde. The new Saare 47 is in our harbor here and will be available for test sailing again very early in 2025.

From the shipyard:

Thomas Nielsen is currently in Estonia and is discussing and planning a few things in the shipyard with our Estonian managing director Peeter Sääsk. Among other things, the detailed planning for boot 2025 is now underway.

We are intensively examining the possibilities of being able to offer another delivery date for the 2025 season. We have found some new, well-trained employees and are a little ahead of schedule.

Of course, we are also looking at the Saare 38.2 that is currently under construction.

Three Saare 38.2s are currently under construction.

A 38.2 is now being completed and will be made ready for sailing and delivered in Eckernförde in a few weeks. We are also installing a functional chart table/office space on this yacht. This yacht will be available for charter on the Baltic Sea from the 2025 season.

The other two Saare 38.2s will be handed over in Estonia in June. Both crews have no time earlier and would like to attend the Saare Midsummer Meeting in Koiguste.

One owner wants to sail his yacht home afterwards.
The owner of the other 38.2 wants to sail in the Baltics and Finland over the summer and not transfer it to Germany until 2026.

Saare meeting on June 23rd, 2025

We cordially invite all Saare owners and their crews to experience the Nordic Midsummer Night with us. We now have registrations from more than 10 Saare yachts.

There is still more space in the beautiful Koiguste harbor on the island of Saaremaa and also in the restaurant.

We have now been to Koiguste and have spoken to the harbor and restaurant operators Külli and Niclas. We are already looking forward to the visit of the numerous Saare yachts.

The date for the Midsummer celebration on Monday, June 23rd is correct. St. John’s Day, a public holiday in Estonia, always takes place on June 24th. The Midsummer Festival is celebrated the evening before.

A Saare is the perfect yacht to enjoy the Nordic summer to the fullest.

Save the date

Some shipyards and dealers will not be present at the Düsseldorf show.
We are delighted to be exhibiting again and our friends, customers, owners and fans can meet us in Hall 16.
We are exhibiting a Saare 41.2 again. This exhibition yacht is now for sale and is the last opportunity to get a first-class yacht with an early delivery date in 2025.

Boot Düsseldorf 18th till 26th of January 2025

Saare 47

We are now also working on a specification for the Saare 47 in a special blue water version.
The Saare 47 Ocean will have a different rig, can have a rudder with a half skeg, a slightly different deck layout and, if desired, a different interior. Larger tanks and a generator will then be installed for this special long-distance version.
As always with our Saare yachts, we are happy to implement your special wishes and realize your ideas of a perfect yacht.

We wish you a lovely Advent and a peaceful Christmas.
Winter also has its beautiful sides, only about three weeks left and the days will be longer again.
