Saare Yachts uses Google AdWords, a Google analytics service, and Google AdWords, Conversion Tracking and Google AdWords Remarketing on our websites www.saare-yachts.com and www.saare-yachts.de.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. When certain pages of our website are visited, Google and we can recognize that the page visitor clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Further information on the terms of use and data protection of Google AdWords can be found here.

With Google AdWords Remarketing, Google sets a cookie in the browser of the terminal, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages visited by the Saare Yachts visitor. If the user has consented to the sharing of their web log with Google, Google may use the log of the visit to the Saare Yachts websites along with Google Analytics data and Google AdWords data to create audiences for cross-device marketing. The user can permanently disable the setting of such cookies by installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

  1. Newsletter

Our newsletter is sent using the mail service provider “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection standards. The Mailchimp privacy policy of the shipping service provider can be viewed here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The mailing service provider Mailchimp is used on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR and an order processing contract in accordance with Article 28 Paragraph 3 Clause 1 GDPR. Mailchimp can use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, Mailchimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them themselves or to pass the data on to third parties.

12.1 Newsletter – measurement of success

The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened or, if we use Mailchimp, from its server. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and the system, as well as the IP address and time of retrieval, are initially collected. This information is used to technically improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and the reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP[1] address) or the access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our aim nor, if used, that of the shipping service provider to monitor individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The consent given to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in each newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data stored by the www.saare-yachts.com and saare-yachts.de user for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until the user unsubscribes from the newsletter and deleted after the newsletter has been cancelled. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. for placing an order or contacting us by e-mail) remain unaffected.
